Palm Park Clan

On 5/23/09 some old friends got together for a long past due fishin trip. The last trip we took together as the "PALM PARK CLAN" was at the HEB lodges in Rockport about 17 years ago... "Me & Mark were the only ones catchin Black Drum". Things changed this trip, seems like the fish had lock jaw cause we only had four trout..... Big brother Dodd took the biggest which was 18"s. We need to do a Baffin Trip!!!! Thanks for fishin with me, and all of the memories when we were heathens growin up together!!!

5/16/09 I had the best trip of the season!!! I took the family down to Baffin and we won the Gallaway Memorial Fishin Tournament with the heaviest stringer 10 trout, three reds at 49.12lbs!!! Morgan got the spot pot with her 4 spots on the red she caught!! We had a very good day on the water. Let me tell ya there nothing like spending the day on the water with all your girls!!!! Can't wait to do it again.

Keystone Fishin Trip

Ever seen a Redfish get filleted by a boat??? This Redfish was in the wrong place at the wrong time and had a boat hit him in the back with a prop blade. We drove up on him as he was still kicking. Kyle ended up with the biggest fish with this nice 21" Trout. I think the Lady fish was bigger at 25"s. "I guess we can't count the 36inch Red or the other Red that pulled drag and left mud tracks like a boat taking off!!!" It was a little windy with 30mph gusts but "A bad day on the water is better than a good day at work...." Thanks for fishing with me.

Put it on the Stringer!!!

5/2/09 we are still fightin the wind. Mark Wheelington and crew were brave enough to go with me to the land cut, at least it was only 40mph wind gusts..... We had a slow day but had fun catchin what we did. Not a bad stringer with a 29"black drum, 26"red, and a couple 20"trout. To bad we couldn't get that 50lb stingray for ya Mark, PUT IT ON THE STRINGER!!! Maybe next trip!!!! Look forward to fishin with yall in June. "Hope we can get us a SHOG to eat at the cabin!!!"
