11/26/09 We had a great time Thanksgiving weekend at Lake Texana.

Night fishin at Packery Channel

On 11/7/09 We took a trip out to packery Channel. We set up the lights and caught trout one after another with live shrimp and berkley Gulp shrimp. Good times!!!

Flounder Giggin on a School night!!!

10/28/09 Me and Morgan went Giggin on a school night. We only stayed 45mins. and saw two Flounder. Morgan missed a 19-20"er and I stuck this fat momma she was 23"s. Good times!!!!

Huge Red from cabin in Baffin

10/25/09 Jimmy landed this 43" Bull Red from the cabin. She weighed about 25-30lbs and we were able to release her after a few pics.

10/23-10/25/2009 We took a trip to baffin and we got into some reds. Rosa caught her first keeper Red in Baffin!!! Good job Rosa!!!!

Morgans First Red Snapper 25miles Offshore

9/6/09 We took a trip offshore to a rig 25 miles out. When we got there Morgan was the first to hook up with a 19"Red Snapper, "not bad for her first Red Snapper". She hooked a few more but the shark were really hungry and kept eatin the snapper before we could get them up. Good memories and really good dinner!!!!

Black Tip Shark and Snapper

9/6/09 We went 25 miles offshore and got two blacktip shark and two red snapper. We lost a bunch cause the shark kept breakin us off on the rig and stealin our snapper. We managed to get these two snapper past the shark, all the others became shark bait!!!! My father in law Jimmy hooked a 4 1/2 foot blacktip that I gaffed as he got it to the boat. The gaff slipped out of my hands but I had the lanyard around my wrist. The lanyard broke as the shark made another run and we lost the leader, gaff and the shark.....

8/23/09 We were able to get some bigger fish on the boat. We had a nice 25" Trout and a 30" Red. We went thru lots of small trout to get 9 keepers. Had lots of fun catchin.

8/22/09 We had a great day on the water. The weather was great and the catchin was good. Most of the trout we caught were on the small side but it was fun catchin.

Trip to Baffin

8/20:8/21/09 We went to Baffin for the night. The schooly trout were thick catchin 2 at a time on speck rigs. The meadows produced a few fish and then we got a real nice red at the mouth of Baffin. Had a good time. See ya on the water, Capt. John

Jacks in the Humble

I am trying to get the video uploaded but haven't got it done yet. We ran into a school of huge Jack Crevelle in the Humble channel last thurs 8/20/09. Marcos Cruz hooked into one and ended up fighting her for about 20 mins. until she shook the hook. She weighed about 30-40lbs. I will post the video when I can its awesome!!!

Flounder Giggin In August

8/4/09 Josh Clark and I went Flounder giggin. We got 7 with the biggest at 19"s. We ate em that night.....

Coleto Creek Campin

July 10-18 We had a great time at Coleto Creek Reservoir. Morgan learned how to water ski with the gators and we even caught some catfish. "Sight casting to them!!!" We caught a few on the trotline also... We kept the ones the aligators did't eat for dinner.

Guadalupe River 4th of July

7/4/09 What a July 4th!!! We got a 25# Blue Cat and a 27" Red in the same day!!!! Good memories.
